If you’ve shuddered at the thought of any of these, I suggest sprinting to Maybelline’s debut show ‘Maybelline is in her Slut Era’ and you’ll be able to bask in the comfort that it wasn’t only you! 


A show for the chronically online girlies and gays, Maybelline delves into the 132 days of her ‘Slut Era’ with a relatable show about the realities of modern “dating.” She immediately sets a welcoming and safe tone, with a touch of chaotic energy, as she unleashes her wild statistics from her 132 days of sexual liberation. This instantly hooks the audience about what’s to come, giving the same energy as if a friend is about to detail their latest escapades to you. Maybelline uses her comedic storytelling to poke fun at the often chaotic world of dating and men without holding back.


Maybelline has an inviting yet energetic approach to performing and storytelling. She transitions between detailed anecdotes to comedic song parodies about her situationships. Sprinkled throughout, is her feminist take on the matter, honing in on the message that females should not be stigmatised for casual dating in the 21st century, when men are praised. The show is a celebration of self-confidence and liberation, proving that women can be just as unapologetically sexual as they are funny!

Tired Ass Showgirls → Adelaide Cabaret Festival

Nope, this isn’t the ‘Wicked: For Good’ press tour, this is ‘Tired Ass Showgirls,’ a high-camp cabaret by an even better pink-and-green singing duo- Sean Miley Moore and Brendan de la Hay!  Created & written by Sean, Brendan and Jared Jekyll in conjunction with Hayes Theatre CO, ‘Tired Ass Showgirls’ is a glorious celebration of the careers of two of Australia’s most-loved performers. The show is a homage to the hustle of showgirl life on and off the stage, so it's no wonder they’re “tired!” Sean and Brendan lean into this narrative, only to give the most impressively entertaining hour of cabaret I have ever witnessed.  These two on stage are a combustible combination of charisma, talent and cheek.
